I’m offering a glimpse into the daily goings on in my life. Just managing my day to day can sometimes be overwhelming. From work, to family and trying to carve out small moments of time for myself I don’t have much time for the outside world. Therefore, the time I give to the outside world is hard fought and precious to me. This means, I will not allow anyone to abuse that time or fill it with negativity.

The Tide is a series about an elite paramilitary group trying to rectify a post apocalyptic world after a virus of some sort begins turning people and animals to monsters.

After The Tide picks up where The Tide left off. I assume, just like myself, people weren’t ready to let go of these characters yet or leave the story where it ended with The Tide.

This book takes a look at what an afterlife could possibly look like if our consciousnesses were uploaded into a computer program that basically allowed us to make our own world. It shows how that world could evolve over time given better technology, and how villains can evolve even in the afterlife.

This is a typical old retired and widowed cop moves to a new town and opens a bed and breakfast to eventually get involved in trying to run the local drug dealers out of town. Only he finds out that, of course, they have larger more dangerous powers behind them.

This series follows Jesse Hunt who is a Criminal profiler through her cases while she is being stalked by her serial killer father and a serial killer admirer of her father’s work. It’s 38 books total and I am currently on book 10.

This book is about a little girl who discovers her father is a serial killer. Her mother becomes so distraught and embarrassed by this that she stops being a mother to Naomi and her brother. The story that ensues turns into nightmare after nightmare for poor Naomi.

This is your typical “The big house across the street is empty and haunted type of book. A young girl moves in unbothered by the haunting because she has some issues of her own not to mention the initial nature of the haunting. Eventually you find out what malevolent spirit is haunting the house and why.

This is a younger newly divorced woman and her older windowed neighbor taking a Summer road trip together to find the young man that once saved the neighbor’s life. Meanwhile, the younger divorced woman has to learn to trust love again. Its a feel good read.

This is a two book series involving a fog that gives magical powers at a cost to the unwillingly receiver and a king’s desire to extinguish all those who gain this “Unstable” magic. as While using magic cards born of the same spirit that inhabits the fog are permissible, the goal is to collect all of the cards together to banish the fog. All while a secret race goes on to save the life of one to be used as a sacrifice upon reuniting the cards.

The story follows a midwife as she takes on the task of investigating the disappearance of women and babies from the maternity ward of the hospital in which she works. You won’t see the reason coming.

Two children from an unhappy home take notice that a new stranger has moved into the house next door recently vacated when the former owner, an older man who taught at their school, dies. There’s something different about this new stranger.

You have to pay attention in this one as two seemingly unrelated storylines converge to discover the same evil secret.

This story takes you on an investigation to find out who shot the daughter of Rachel and Ed at her graduation as she received her diploma. Why Gemma? Why only her and nobody else? With Gemma in a coma, she can’t give any clues as to who it may be, so it’s up to the detectives to figure it all out.
