A Full Breakdown of My Wishlist
Sun/Moon Palm Carving: Represents my respect and reverence for the celestial bodies that infuse and influence physical life.
Coral Stone Cameo: Representative of my mother’s maternal grandmother. Cameos always give me queen vibes, and my mother’s maternal grandmother was originally from Queen Ann’s County Maryland.
Zebra Jasper Angel Carving: Representative of my mother’s paternal grandmother. Her paternal grandmother was often listed in census records as a “mulatto” house servant or worker.
Bunny Carving: Representative of my father’s maternal grandmother. I remember her as being very reserved and a woman of few words. Even when she spoke, it was such a calm and gentle tone that I had to strain to hear what she was saying. Although some of my older cousins may remember her differently than I do.
Fire Quartz Flame: Representative of my father’s paternal grandmother. She was feisty and liked to go her own way. I would see her pop up in the most random places around the city and be taken aback each and every time. Not only shocked that my great grandmother was there, but equally shocked she had insisted on walking there or being dropped off by my grandfather and left to handle her own business.
Mother and Child Carving: Representative of my maternal grandmother. Through family tree research, I found out both she and her mother had babies that preceded them in transitioning just as I have.
Honey Badger Carving: Representative of my maternal grandfather. I’ve seen in pictures that he was a man of small stature. However, I’ve heard stories that his stature never stopped him from confronting someone when he deemed it necessary.
Crystal Planter: Representative of my paternal grandmother. She is the one that fostered a love of houseplants within me. She also made me love crock pots, but that’s another thing entirely.
Onyx Owl Carving: Representative of my paternal grandfather. He always seemed so wise to me and as if he had a handle on the whole family. All of us.
Lion Carving: Representative of my mother. She was a Leo in every sense of the word and was more than proud to tell it to the world. It was a source of pride for her.
Crab Carving: Representative of my sun sign
Kitsune Statue: I can’t explain why I feel such a strong pull to this mythical creature.

Shopping
While I do find the odd crystal on Amazon, Facebook Marketplace, Etsy and the like, the majority of my crystals come from sellers on the app Whatnot. Whatnot is an auction app where many various things are sold, but I primarily use it for plant shopping and crystal shopping. Here are a few of my favorite crystal sellers on the app.
